Free In Flight

Free In Flightfeatured

Barefoot in the grass, I choose to walk alone,
Left within these moments and a place that feels like home.
The mountain range it whispers where angels fear to tread,
A place where heaven touches and our lives hang by a thread.

On a cliff I gaze as I look from shore to sea,
At all the beauty that remains while the wind makes me feel free.
The voice from Mother Earth beats loudly from its core,
To listen to the heartbeat that drums forevermore.

The trees they tell a story of a land that frees the soul,
A greenery of all the plants that gives its body whole.
Sky above, earth below, the oceans seem to wake,
The height below the vantage points shows the waves will give and take.

From the edge I waver with my arms stretched side to side,
I close my eyes and take a step, before I make my dive.
I hope the wind will carry me through the realms of earth below,
And say a prayer to hold the faith in distant lands I go.

My spirit will not linger as your eyes burn in my mind,
And we will always seek the truth throughout the hands of time.
Unbreakable, as they say, tethered to our lasting ties,
Upon a bow and a twist, my feet and heart takes to the skies.

My wings will always take me like a hawk that’s free in flight,
And even in the darkness I’ll choose to see the light.
I will always find you where our crossroads seem to meet,
And in neither friend nor foe, it is in kindness we shall greet.

The water rushes over me as I plunge into the sea,
A stillness that engulfs my soul and seems to unify all of me.
A peace that surges through the surface as the water quickly breaks,
Another time to take a dive and hear the Earth as it begins to shake.

With Light & Love ♥
