Adventures & Travels: United Statesfeatured

In the realm full of possibilities to travel far and wide, where is it that your heart really wants to go?

Fiji? Peru? Italy? Finland? Netherlands?

And endless choice to travel the world and to have an adventure away from your normal day routine.

While there is a lot of resourceful information out there about international travel, how much do you know about what’s located in the United States? Do you know what lies in the various parts of Louisiana, Maine, Iowa, Nevada, Montana, California, and Hawaii? For those of us who live in the U.S even we don’t always know what’s in our backyard; so, the best way to find out is to go explore!

Jessica Renfro from Sorting Life’s Issues with Jess has put together a fantastic compilation of ‘The Very Best of the United States’, written by individuals who live across the country. Each state receives its very own review for what makes the state unique, why you should visit, and the highlights of the very best in what it has to offer travelers. What’s great about these posts, aside from the information, is that the individuals writing them either currently live or have lived in those states. Any information that’s shared is subject to personal experience!

As I’ve shared in other posts, I’m a Southerner by heart who was transplanted in the North and found their way into the Midwest. It made sense that I was eager to share with you about the exciting world of OHIO! I know, I see your raised eyebrow and questioning expression. But, I kind of think the state is full of hidden gems and some great experiences. Most of the time I get attached quickly to people, places, and things, so of course one of the best things about Ohio is the people.

There’s such an eclectic group of folks who live in Ohio and those who are from the surrounding states: Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Every place has their own way of living, their way of perception and how they see things, and of course the way they talk! For the time that I was there, it was an experience all of its own and one I am very thankful I was able to have. Between the food, fun, and people I really got to see Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland in a bit of its glory.

Here’s a link to the Ohio blog post if you want to check it out, along with some of the other states! Keep in mind, my lists for the cities is not all encompassing compared to others who may have different interests. But it is a small helpful start if you’re looking to roam freely!

With Light & Love ♥
