A Treasure of Chance

A Treasure of Chancefeatured

You will not find me in the comforts of the place that you left me.
Walking on a rugged road filled with isolation and faint with sunlight.
For I have carried onward with my quest.

Fortune and prosperity have found their way to me,
In a time of happenstance and wonder as I implored the world to answer.
Such devotion to an unknown truth.

Should our paths ever cross again I will see you as an equal,
For what has been, can no longer be undone.
And for that you must swallow your pride.

It never had to be anything but real.
The autonomy of two immoral souls liberated from their visceral grips,
Drifting towards each other as time crept slowly towards a delicate combustion.
