A Simple Truthfeatured

There is a love that resides inside of my soul that is reserved for only you.

For the person who has met me halfway in every step of darkness I have traveled, illuminating the night sky as a beacon of hope, so I could come closer towards the light.

In those moments, when I ached from the pain from what life had handed me and I accepted without reserve, you were there to help rebuild my foundation. Allowing me to watch as the sea willingly took back the grains of sand I had once built my walls upon, while praying to find the courage in letting it go. Clay is to the builder as sand is to the sea.

My heart knows new bouts of love because of you; bountiful endless moments filled with your welcoming arms around me. Our spirits revel in the joy and understanding of what it means to be together as one. It is in these moments where I have learned a simple truth.

In living a life that I love, I have found the love of my life.
