Fragments of Time

Fragments of Timefeatured

Here we are, the first day of August, and the realization that we are definitely half way through 2019 is staring at us directly in the face. Time feels like it is cruising on a jet engine and flying right by without a worry or care. ✈

Are you ready to transition? For the leaves to change colors and fall to the ground? Or to pull out your fall and Halloween decorations to be festive for a new season which will quickly be upon us? I hope you’re prepared for whatever changes lay readily at your feet.

In June I shared that I was working on a few projects with hopes to announce them sometime in July. With a little extra baking to make sure it was fully cooked, one of those projects is completed and finally ready to come out of the oven. As many others have done before me, I have put together a collection of my poetry and self published through Amazon. My book is called Fragments of Time and can be read in either Kindle or Paperback. Most of the people who write and self publish poetry are not in the business to get rich. If that were the case, society might choose a different perspective compared to where it’s currently at.

The contents of this book come from a very private place where the door is left slightly cracked open just enough for you to enter. For the longest time I have searched for a comfortable way to express myself and find my inner voice. Writing and putting this collection together has helped me find those pieces. I’m grateful to share this with you, along with some of my poems here on this blog.

As you read through the book you’ll notice that there are two short stories located near the beginning and end. This is to help tell a story, with a few twists, as each of the pages and poems come to life. Part of this creativity stemmed from the friendship with my best friend Phil, who the book is also dedicated to. In March I wrote a post titled Forever Friends: Phil where I discussed the anniversary of his passing. He was and still is one of my greatest inspirations.

The pages of this poetry collection are here to help readers discover the depths of what the heart carries alongside it, in addition to the soul. We might not always speak on it, but words will often leave messages inside our hearts. Are you reading what’s been written on yours? I hope when you have time that you can sit with a warm cup of coffee and enjoy the pages of this book. ♨

In the comforts of my shadow, I have found the truth.
The identify of a soul is bared.

As Always,
☀ Sending you Light & Love ☀
