Medusa’s Complexfeatured
Green eyes filled deep with rage burn with brimstone & fire,
As the silver tongues of the wicked are potent with eternal damnation,
Petrifying and turning every fatal suitor to stone as it was once fated.
Ravaged by a covenant whose sins they so godly prided themselves for being above,
In his watery grave she laid him to rest,
Along with the others who treasured this narcissistic god.
It is said that those who come to meet her can see the scales of justice teetering,
A bird left soulless in an iron cage tortured and cursed,
By the very thing she was forced to live without,
Lies and betrayal make a monster out of us all.
